GRAINWATCH 400 WDG is a group code 14 herbicide.
GRAINWATCH 400 WDG only works by contact and rapidly burns down the targeted weeds' leaves.
It is required to achieve a good overall droplet coverage of the targeted weed plants. The time for final die-back of weeds varies according to the weed species and prevailing environmental conditions.
Ideal stage for application is when weeds are 10 – 20 cm in height.
GRAINWATCH 400 WDG is rapidly absorbed by foliage of susceptible plants, with rainfastness achieved within 1 hour.
Due to rapid foliar desiccation, systemic movement in phloem is extremely limited.
Carfentrazone-ethyl is non-persistent in the soil and is rapidly degraded by soil microbes and hydrolysis to carfentrazone-ethylpropionic acid which is poorly absorbed to the soil.
Mobility: Carfentrazone-ethyl or any metabolites do not leach in the soil and will thus not contaminate ground water.
Carfentrazone-ethyl is not volatile.

Do's & Don'ts

For optimum results, apply GRAINWATCH 400 WDG when weeds are young and actively growing under moist conditions.
Weeds growing under stress conditions may be less susceptible to GRAINWATCH 400 WDG.
Shield young trees with immature bark during application or use a covered sprayer. Apply as a directed interrow spray for the control of difficult to control weeds when actively growing.
Weeds germinating after the application of GRAINWATCH 400 WDG+ GLYGRAN 710 SG tank mixture will not be controlled.
Mix the required quantity of GRAINWATCH 400 WDG in a small quantity of water to make a smooth cream.
Apply with equipment which delivers at least 200 Liters spray mixture per hectare.
Serious crop injury may occur if spray or spray drift comes into contact with foliage of broadleaf crops, fruit and/or immature bark of trees or adjacent non-target crops that are not under treatment.
Do not apply GRAINWATCH 400 WDG to crops under stress from drought, water logging, cold, pests or diseases, nutrient or lime deficiency or other factors reducing plant growth.
