SANTANA 480 SC is a suspension concentrate, systemic action fungicide for the preventative control of diseases in crops as indicated.

Canola
  • SANTANA 480 SC is a FRAC group code 3 fungicide.
  • Prothioconazole is a new generation ergosterol biosynthesis inhibitor.
  • Leads to structural and functional changes in the cell membrane, preventing production of new fungal cells.
  • Rapid absorption with a long-lasting action.
  • Provides a high level of protective, curative and eradicative disease control.
  • Low application rate thus less product needed.
  • Apply the first application not later than the 4 to 6 leaf stage (BBCH 14 to 16) and a second application at green bud stage (BBCH 51) for black leg.
  • Apply preventive application at 20 % to 30 % flowering (BBCH 62 to 63) for sclerotinia stem rot.
  • The first product application must be applied STRICTLY PREVENTATIVELY before any symptoms are noticed.

Ground Application

  • 200 mℓ /ha SANTANA 480 SC + - 50 ml /100 ℓ water DIRECT;
  • Apply in 100-300 ℓ water per hectare

Aerial Application

  • 200 mℓ/ha SANTANA 480 SC + - 100 ml/100 ℓ water DIRECT;
  • Apply in 30 -40 ℓ water per hectare

Cereal

  • Ideal mixing partner for picoxystrobin (ACADEMY 250 SC)
  • Low application rate thus less product needed for same efficacy as other triazoles.
  • Wheat: Brown rust (Puccina triticina), stem rust (Puccina graminis), speckled leaf and glume blotch (Septoria spp.), powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis tritici) as well as yellow rust (Puccinia striiformis).
  • Barley: Net blotch (Pyrenophora teres), leaf spot (Rhynchosporium secalis), leaf rust (Puccinia hordei) and
    powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis).
  • Apply the first application between the 5 and 7 leaf stage as a STRICTLY PREVENTATIVE treatment before symptoms are present.
  • Apply a second application 3 to 4 weeks later if disease pressure is evident (normally at flag leaf stage before appearance of the head).
  • Do not apply SANTANA 480 SC (plus LINK) without the addition of ACADEMY 250 SC as the first application in a disease management programme when high disease pressure is expected.

Apply the first application between the 5- and 7- leaf stage. Apply a second application 3 to 4 weeks later if disease pressure is evident (normally at flag leaf stage before appearance of the head).
The first product application must be applied STRICTLY PREVENTATIVELY, before any symptoms are noticed.

Apply the higher rates of SANTANA 480 SC (150 ml/ha) in a tank mixture with Academy 250 SC (400 ml/ha) under the following conditions:
• When high disease pressure is evident or when climatic conditions are conducive to disease development.
• On cultivars that are known to be very prone to leaf and kernel diseases.

Ground Application

  • 150mℓ /ha SANTANA 480 SC plus 50mℓ /100 ℓ water LINK OR;
  • 100-150mℓ /ha SANTANA 480 SC plus 300-400mℓ /ha ACADEMY 250 SC plus 50mℓ /100 ℓ water LINK;
  • Apply in 200-300 ℓ water per hectare

Aerial Application

  • 150mℓ /ha SANTANA 480 SC plus 100mℓ /100 ℓ water LINK OR;
  • 100-150mℓ /ha SANTANA 480 SC plus 300-400mℓ /ha ACADEMY 250 SC plus 100mℓ /100 ℓ water LINK;
  • Apply in 30-40 ℓ water per hectare

ACADEMY 250 SC
Active ingredient: Picoxystrobin (strobilurin) 250 g/ℓ

Maize
  • SANTANA 480 SC is a FRAC group code 3 fungicide.
  • SANTANA 480 SC controls rust, grey leaf spot and Northern leaf blight in maize.
  • Provides a high level of eradicative and protective control due to fast absorption with long lasting protection.
  • Ideal mixing partner for picoxystobin (ACADAMY 250 SC).
  • Low application rate results in less product required for similar efficacy compared to other triazoles.
  • Only apply in a tank mixture with ACADEMY 250 SC or MYCOBLOCK 250 SC.
  • Apply the first application of the SANTANA 480 SC tank-mix at the 5-6 leaf stage before any disease symptoms are noticed.
  • A second application of the SANTANA 480 SC tank-mix is recommended 3 to 4 weeks later.
  • Under expected high disease pressure conditions, a third application with SPARTA 375 SC is recommended.

- SANTANA 140 mℓ/ha + MYCOBLOCK 250 SC 400 mℓ/ha plus DIRECT.

  • Provides a high level of eradicative and protective control due to fast absorption with long lasting protection.
  • Ideal mixing partner for picoxystobin (ACADAMY 250 SC).
  • Low application rate results in less product required for similar efficacy compared to other triazoles.
  • Only apply in a tank mixture with ACADEMY 250 SC or MYCOBLOCK 250 SC.
  • Apply the first application of the SANTANA 480 SC tank-mix at the onset of flowering before any disease symptoms are noticed.
  • A second application of the SANTANA 480 SC tank-mix is recommended 3 to 4 weeks later.
  • Under expected high disease pressure conditions, a 3-weekly spray interval is recommended.

  • 100 mℓ/ha SANTANA 480 SC + 300 mℓ/ha ACADAMY 250 SC + or 300 mℓ/ha MYCOBLOCK 250 SC + 50 mℓ/100 ℓ water DIRECT
  • Apply in 300-500 ℓ water per hectare.
