for the control of insects on crops as listed.

Canola
  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC is a group code 6 insecticide.
  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC effectively controls Lepidoptera larvae that are resistant to organophosphates, pyrethroids and insect growth regulators.
  • The active ingredient Emamectin benzoate is produced from fermentation of Streptomyces avermitilis - a naturally occurring soil Actinomycete.
  • Emamectin benzoate is a non-systemic insecticide active primarily by ingestion, translaminar mobility. Paralyses Lepidoptera, which stop feeding within hours of ingestion, and die after 2–4 days. It allosterically activates glutamate-gated chloride channels (GluCls) resulting in increased chloride ion flow and causing paralysis.
  • Emamectin benzoate acts by stimulating the release of gamma aminobutyric acid, an inhibitory neurotransmitter, thus finally activating the chloride channels.
  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC is compatible with Direct and INTERLOCK®
  • Larvae ceases to feed after ingestion of treated plants with death occurring within four days.
  • Low impact on the environment and safe to a wide range of beneficial insects (predators) due to rapid breakdown of the active ingredient – limiting contact to <48 hours.
  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC can be applied by any suitable medium or high-volume applicator if it is correctly calibrated, fitted with an effective agitation mechanism and can distribute the spray material evenly over the target area.
  • Do not use conflict during flowering. This product is toxic to bees
  • Do not apply more than two (2) applications of CONFLICT 19.2 EC per growing season
  • Apply as soon as larvae hatch.
  • Application rates are dependent on the size of the larvae.
  • Use higher application rates for more severe infestations.
  • Ensure thorough coverage of the plant surface by applying in at least 150 litres of water per hectare.
  • If necessary, repeat application after seven days.

Maize

An emulsifiable concentrate insecticide with stomach action for the control of  Fall Armyworm (Spodoptera frugiperda) on Maize.

  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC is a group code 6 insecticide.
  • Emamectin benzoate is a foliar insecticide derivative of abamectin, a naturally occurring soil actinomycete.
  • Withholding period of 21 days.
  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC is compatible with Direct and INTERLOCK® (L 10254 / W 130875 / N-AR 1856)
  • It kills insects by disrupting neurotransmitters, causing irreversible paralysis. It is more effective when ingested, but it also somewhat effective on contact.
  • When sprayed to foliage, emamectin benzoate penetrates the leaf tissue and forms reservoir within treated leaves, which provides residual activity against pests that ingest the substance when feeding.
  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC is effective for the control of Lepidoptera larvae.
  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC is translaminar and is rapidly absorbed into the plant.
  • CONFLICT 19.2 EC is effective against Lepidoptera larvae resistant to organophosphates, pyrethroids and insect growth regulators.
  • After CONFLICT 19.2 EC ingestion, larval feeding stops, and death occurs within four (4) days.
  • Apply as an early full cover spray before larvae migrate into maize ears.
  • Application rates are dependent on the size of the larvae. Use higher application rates for more severe infestations.
  • Control measures should commence as soon as pest is noticed in the production region. Apply in an integrated pest management programme. Alternate with products with a different mode of action.
  • Apply with spray intervals of 7 days.
  • Do not apply more than two (2) applications of CONFLICT 19.2 EC per growing season.
  • Do not use CONFLICT 19.2 EC during flowering when bees are actively foraging. this product is toxic to bees.
