DETECT 400 SC is a suspension concentrate fungicide with contact action for the preventative control of diseases in crops as indicated.

Apple
  • DETECT 440 SC is a quinone group fungicide and belongs to FRAC group M9.
  • Primarily a protectant fungicide.
  • Dithianon is a multi-site inhibitor of protein formation that prevents spore germination and germ tube growth.
  • Due to multi-site contact activity the risk of resistance is low.
  • Shows residual activity and is reactivated on the fruit and leaf surface by moist conditions.
  • Offers protection during conditions that are favourable for the development of Fusi.
  • Apply preventatively and alternate different fungicide groups.
  • Do not apply under slow drying conditions as an increase in russeting may occur.
  • Do not apply within 14 days before, or following, an application of mineral oils.
  • Do not mix with alkaline products or spray oils.
  • Start application at green-tip and apply at weekly intervals until 75% petal fall.
  • After 75% petal fall, apply every 14 days during post-blossom period. Revert back to 7-day intervals if weather conditions favour disease development.
  • From mid-December, treatments can be applied monthly.
  • Apply in combination with D-ZOLE 250 EC during conditions conducive to disease development.
  • DETECT 400 SC plus the higher D-ZOLE 250 EC rate should be applied as a curative treatment within two days after infection.

• Reduce spray interval to 7 days if conditions are conducive to disease development.
• Ensure even coverage of the target area.
• Apply just before the point of run-off using 300-1 500 ℓ spray mixture per hectare, depending on the growth stage of the vine.
• Repeat the application if rain falls within 2 hours after application.
