A systemic suspension concentrate insecticide for the control of agricultural as well as house & garden pests as indicated.

Cereal
  • Systemic insecticide that acts on the central nervous system of insects through both contact and ingestion (stomach) action.
  • Imidacloprid exhibits excellent translaminar movement in plants and can penetrate the leaf cuticle and move readily into leaf tissue.
  • Due to paralysis insects stop feeding, although death only occurs some time later.
  • Excellent residual control.
  • Mixes well with various fungicides.
  • Not sensitive to fluctuations in water pH.
  • Do not apply onto crops when honey bees are present, also prevent drift onto surrounding areas where bees are active.
  • Make sure plants are actively growing to facilitate uptake of the product.
  • Not registered for aerial application.
  • When an imidachloprid (RONSEK 600 FS) seed treatment is used, consider an alternative mode of action to avoid resistance development.

Apply 200 mℓ /ha on crops that are actively growing for the control of wheat-, oat-, brown wheat- and Russian wheat aphid, as well as false chinch bugs.

RONSEK 600 FS
Active ingredient: Imidacloprid (chloro-nicotinyl) 600 g/l
Reg. No. L8573, Act 36 of 1947
(caution)

Citrus
  • IRAC group code 4A insecticide.
  • IMIDOR 350 SC is highly systemic with translaminar activity and with contact and stomach action.
  • IMIDOR 350 SC is taken up through the roots and underground stem of the plant.
  • IMIDOR 350 SC is transported to all actively growing parts of the plant.
  • Controls red scale, aphids and psylla.
  • Once taken up by the plant it provides prolonged protection.
  • Soil drench application is not affected by adverse weather conditions.
  • Remove organic material around the trunk of the tree.
  • Apply during August & September at green tip to white bud growth stage.
  • Irrigate within 24 hours after application.

Soil drench application:
- Dilute the recommended dosage rate of IMIDOR 350 SC in 1 ℓ of water and apply around the trunk base with a jug.
- Apply 9 mℓ/ tree for the control of aphids, red scale and psylla.

Potato
  • IMIDOR 350 SC is an IRAC group code 4A insecticide.
  • IMIDOR 350 SC controls aphids (Myzus persicae) in potatoes.
  • Acts as an antagonist by binding to postsynaptic nicotinic receptors in the insect central nervous system.
  • IMIDOR 350 SC is a systemic insecticide with translaminar activity and with contact and stomach action.
  • Good systemic root absorption and distributed acropetally.
  • Stable to hydrolysis.
  • Used as a seed dressing, soil treatment and foliar treatment.
  • IMIDOR 350 SC is transported to all parts of the plant. Total plant protection; long term activity.
  • Flexibility on application usage. Can be used for various purposes.
  • Apply the mixture from ridge-tip to ridge-tip in the planting furrow using 3 – 4 ℓ water per 100 m furrow length.
  • Apply before planting of the tubers. IMIDOR 350 SC can also be applied over the row after planting, but before emergence.
  • Irrigate immediately afterwards (±15 mm water).
  • First apply MOCAP 150 GR as a broadcast application prior to planting for the control of nematodes.
  • Do not apply IMIDOR 350 SC mixtures directly on to tubers.
  • Prevent drift on to surrounding crops where honey bees may be present.

USE RATE
- 4 mℓ/100 m row or 1 mℓ/25 m row length (small scale farmers).

MOCAP 150 GR
Active ingredient: Ethoprophos (organophosphate) 150 g/kg
