Apple
  • GLYGRAN 710 SG is a glycine group herbicide and belongs to HRAC group G9.
  • Systemic, post-emergent, non-selective herbicide.
  • Little to no soil residual effect, therefore no root uptake.
  • Fast dissolving SG formulation.
  • Rain-fast within one hour after application.
  • Herbicidal action may become visible from five days after application.
  • Ideal mixing partner for pre-emergence herbicides.
  • Apply in combination with ammonium sulphate.
  • Do not spray whilst weeds are wet, dormant, covered with dust or under stress (drought, cold, heat).
  • Young trees with green bark should be shielded.
  • Do not spray onto pruned trees until wounds have sealed properly.
  • Apply when weeds are young and actively growing.
  • For difficult to control perennial weeds, apply in autumn when weeds are actively translocating nutrients into their roots.

Annual broadleaf and grass weeds in the winter rainfall areas, during midwinter:

  • 1.5-1.8 kg/ha (1-12 leaf stage).
  •  1.8-2.3 kg/ha (12-leaf to pre-flower stage).
  • 2.3-2.5 kg/ha (during flowering).
  • Rates depend on weed size and weed species.
Grapes
  • GLYGRAN 710 SG is a glycine group herbicide and belongs to HRAC group G9.
  • Systemic, post-emergent, non-selective herbicide.

  • Rain or irrigation within 1 hour after application can have an adverse effect on efficacy.
  • Apply before bud break in vines older than 2 years.
  • Do not apply when vines have started to translocate reserves from leaves to roots.
  • Younger vines with green bark should be shielded.
  • Direct spray onto weeds.
  • Do not spray onto pruned vines until wounds have sealed properly.
  • Always use GLYGRAN 710 SG in combination with an ammonium sulphate product.
  • Early winter: (Weeds under 15 cm height)
    0.8 kg/ha plus 3.0 ℓ/ha MCPA 400 SL.
  • Late winter: (Weeds under 30 cm height)
    - 1.0 kg/ha plus 4.0 ℓ/ha MCPA 400 SL.
Maize
  • GLYGRAN 710 SG is an HRAC group code G9 herbicide.
  • Provides control of both annual and perennial grass and broad-leaf weeds.
  • Uptake (absorption) is fast and cultivation, planting or other soil preparation practices can take place the day after application.
  • On contact with the soil, glyphosate binds to the clay particles and is decomposed over time by the soil microbes.
  • The product has no soil residual effect, therefore has no root uptake and is safe to follow-up crops after application.
  • Wilting of weeds will be visible within the first week after application on annual weeds and total death occurs 14-21 days after application.
  • Rain fast one hour after application on small actively growing annual weeds.
  • Registered for use on glyphosate tolerant crops.
  • Granules easily dissolve in the spray mixture and hardly any dust is visible.
  • Granular bags are easy to handle, transport and use less storage space than liquids.
  • Due to its high load of glyphosate active, more hectares can be sprayed with fewer containers than the equivalent liquid formulations.
  • Always use clean water, free of mud or organic material.
  • For optimum results, always apply product on actively growing, stress free weeds.
  • Avoid applications during high temperatures and when humidity is low.
  • Do not spray weeds covered with dust.
  • Apply the product at a minimum volume rate of 125 liters spray mixture per hectare.
  • The addition of ammonium sulphate (VELOCITY DRY-MAX) to spray mixture is recommended for effective weed control.
  • For optimum and consistent results, it's recommended to add a non-ionic surfactant at 0.5% solution to the spray volume.
  • Always fill the tank half full with water before adding any chemicals to the spray mixture and keep on agitating mixture while adding products.
  • Slowly add granules to the spray mix to allow product to dissolve properly.
  • In pre-plant uses:
    Refer to label for specific recommendations per weed and growth stage In glyphosate tolerant maize:

  • On contact with the soil, glyphosate binds to the clay particles and is decomposed over time by the soil microbes.
  • Inconsistent control of certain grass populations and other weeds of which some of the populations might be resistant to products containing Paraquat and Diquat
  • Protect young trees with green bark from direct spray.
  • Do not spray onto pruned trees until wounds have sealed properly.
  • Always use clean water. Avoid the use of brackish or muddy water, or water with a high colloid content derived from soils high in organic matter.
  • Do not spray whilst weeds are wet, dormant or under stress nor when covered in a layer of dust or when damaged by frost.
  • Avoid applications during high temperatures and when humidity is low.
  • GLYGRAN 710 SG is rainfast within one (1) hour after application. Rain or irrigation within 1 hour after application can have an adverse effect on efficacy.
  • Apply the product at a minimum volume rate of 200 litres spray mixture per hectare.
  • The addition of ammonium sulphate to spray mixture is recommended for effective weed control.
  • For optimum and consistent results, it's recommended to add a non-ionic surfactant at 0.5% solution to the spray volume.
  • Always fill the tank half full of water before adding any chemicals to the spray mixture and keep on agitating mixture while adding products.
  • Slowly add granules to the spray mix to allow product to dissolve properly.
  • Apply GLYGRAN 710 SG post-emergence to vigorously growing weeds, directed to the foliage and immature bark. For difficult to control perennial weeds, application in autumn is recommended, when weeds are actively translocating nutrients into their roots, bulbs, rhizomes, and stolon’s. Any re-growth should be spot sprayed.
  • Ensure a fine even droplet distribution (NOT a mist spray) and thorough coverage of the target weeds.
